In our high-tech workshop that is totally not an IKEA kitchen table, Darius puts the newly-restored Roland Jupiter-6 through its paces. This instrument came disassembled, with the voice boards removed and the CEM3340 VCO chips stripped out. We replaced these with AS3340 clones, repaired some PCB damage, rebuilt the power supply, swapped out one key and the bender lever, and gave it a full tune. It’s sounding good as new now ☺️??
In fact, we’re going to hold onto this one.
